Garden Herbs  (beginners)

There’s nothing better than being able to cook at home and go into your garden or onto your porch to collect a few sprigs of your favourite herbs to add to your meals. Well, at least the idea is really lovely, isn’t it! Better than spending $4 a pop just for a single bay leaf for that curry, or a couple of sprigs of rosemary for the roast, quite often the rest just ends up going to waste. Well, other than me telling you, that you may need to start fine tune your herb tending skills so you don’t have to buy your herbs, you could come along to this workshop and have your herbs last forever, on your wall!

Another newbie to the watercolour line up, the Garden Herbs workshop will focus on creating a simple arrangement of your favourite herbs into one watercolour. Bring along a few fresh sprigs from your garden, or ones which may be specific to the style of cooking you like. There will be some of the main stream herbs available like basil, rosemary and mint to choose from (if you have no idea where to start) but would love to be involved.
